Recommendations

  • You can knit with any yarn and a suitable hook.
  • The size of the toy depends on your yarn, hook number and knitting density, as well as on the knitting method.
  • When knitting with ticks (the first and second thread grab from below), the toy will be larger than if knitting with crosses (the first thread grab from above, the second from below).
  • To neatly tighten the hole, grab only the front half loops.
  • All parts are knitted in a spiral, unless otherwise specified. Use a marker or a contrasting thread so as not to lose the beginning of the row.
  • All parts are filled in the process of knitting, unless otherwise specified.
  • At the end of each row, the total number of loops or the number of rows is indicated in (…) Wire. I use copper wire in a braid.
  • For safety and insulation, I use fabric adhesive tape. You can also

use:

– beading wire, in several folds;

– floral wire;

– electrical cables, sold at a hardware store;

– aluminum wire or galvanized steel;

– chenille wire.

If you use unbraided wire, I recommend insulating it.

Recommendations for changing colors. These photos show how I change the color of the thread. You can do it in any way that is convenient for you.
