USEFUL TIPS
I have used a crochet hook that is smaller than recommended for my yarn to keep the stitches tight, so whichever yarn you decide to use, choose a crochet size appropriately.
The neck, body, and legs are tied together as one, so make sure you stuff that part tightly.

Row 2: inc x3 (change color to green / blue at the end of the last sc), inc x3 (change to black at the end of the last sc) (12)
Row 3: (not tight) sl-st x6 (change to white in the last sl-st), (not tight) sl-st x6
Cut off the white yarn, leaving a long tail. Using a sewing needle, thread the white thread through the next sc and back as shown.
Using the same end of the thread, create a highlight for the eyes. When doing this, for the 2nd eye, make sure the eye flare is in the mirror position from the 1st eye (see image).
fasten the ends except for 1 white and 1 black tail, which will be used for sewing.
MANE
Start with a creamy yarn
Make the base base 23ch
Row 1: inc in 2nd loop from crochet, 20 sc, 3sc in last ch, (work on the opposite side of the chain) sc 21 Sl-st to finish, secure leaving long end to sew. Attach pink yarn with sl-st in the middle of the warp as shown.

Continue until you tie the entire length of the base.
A HEART
Using gold yarn, crochet hook 2mm
1st row: (Magic ring) ch3, c2h, 3 dc, ch 1, c2h, ch 1, 3dc, 3 c2h, ch 3, sl-st in the center of the spacecraft (do not pull the ring too tight)
Row 2: ch 3, hdc inc, dc inc, hdc inc, sc 3, sc, sc on top c2h, sc, sc 3, hdc inc, dc inc, hdc inc, ch 3, sl-st in center of spacecraft Pull tail to close the magic ring and secure. Tie up the work yarn, leaving a tail to sew.
TAIL
Using pink yarn
We knit the “hair” in the same way as for the mane, but attach directly to the back of the body.
attach with sl-st, * ch 47, hdc in the 2nd loop from the hook, hdc 45, sl-st in the next sc on the body *
Keep knitting until you have 5 strands of hair
Turn and knit the last 2 “hair strands” between the last 4 as shown.
Attach and sew the horn to the center of the head, above rows 14-17.
Attach the ears to the head in an L shape. Starting at row 21, approximately 11 sc.
Attach the mane to the head 3 rows back from the horn. Sew the base of the mane to the head. Secure the eyes as shown above row 12-16 of the head.
Use the black thread we left behind to sew where you knit with the black eye thread. take a white thread and sew white stitches, secure with a double knot. Hide the ends in your head.
Attach and sew the heart to the back of the body.
