Creating your own Crochet Ninja Turtle Amigurumi is an exciting and rewarding project for crochet enthusiasts of all skill levels.
To get started, gather your materials: a selection of yarn in green for the body, as well as additional colors for the turtle’s mask, belt, and accessories (such as red, blue, orange, or purple), stuffing for a soft and cuddly finish, safety eyes for a cute and realistic touch. - Needle for sewing on parts.
- Filler (synthetic fluff or holofiber).

- Marker or thread.
When using the specified materials, the toy will be about 15 cm tall.
You can use any materials at your discretion, but you must understand that changing the materials entails a change in the result.
Amigurumi Abbreviations:
MR – Amigurumi ring
SC – single crochet
CH – chain stitch
SL-ST – slip stitch
INC – increase (2 SC in one stitch)
DEC – decrease (2 SC knitted together)
DC – double crochet
HDC – half double crochet
(…)x n – repeat n times.
Crochet Ninja Turtle- Notes:
- Each piece starts with an amigurumi ring (magic ring).
- Knitting in a spiral, i.e. at the end of the row SL-ST should NOT be done (unless otherwise specified).
- Use a marker to keep track of the beginning of the row. Insert the marker into the last stitch of the row.
- The toy should be knitted tightly enough so that when the fabric is stretched, no holes are visible through which the filling would subsequently show through.
If the stitches are not tight, try using a smaller hook.
